- This program provides funding for clean and reliable drinking water systems, sanitary sewage disposal, sanitary solid waste disposal, and storm water drainage to households and businesses in eligible rural areas.

Business and Economic Development
Rural Business Investment Program. US Department of Agriculture. Federal. Startup funding.
- Eligible entities for-profits and subsidiaries of an entity.
- Provides a Rural Business Investment Company (RBIC) license to newly formed developmental capital organizations to fill the need for business and development capital in rural areas. The program works with for-profit developmental capital funds.

Business and Industry Loan Guarantees. US Department of Agriculture. Federal. Loan funding.
- Eligible entities for-profit and nonprofit businesses, cooperatives, Tribes, public bodies, and individuals engaged or proposed to engage in a business.
- Loan guarantees to improve, develop, or finance business, industry, and employment and improve the economic and environmental climate in rural communities.

Recreation Focused
Colorado Outdoor Regional Partnerships Initiative. Colorado Parks and Wildlife and Great Outdoors Colorado.
- Advances regionally driven collaboratives working to ensure that Colorado’s land, water and wildlife thrive while also providing equitable access to quality outdoor recreation experiences. For areas that do not have a partnership, these grants support collaborative efforts to establish a coalition that is committed to convening a broad range of outdoor interests to identify and advance conservation and sustainable recreation objectives. For areas with established Outdoor Regional Partnerships, grant funds support collaboration, public involvement, research, and planning that build on existing efforts.

Non-Motorized Trails Grants. Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
- Eligible entities local government, Tribes, and nonprofits with a 501(c)3.
- Supports projects that enhance outdoor recreation through trail construction, maintenance, planning, and related activities, while protecting natural and cultural resources. Funding comes from Great Outdoors Colorado (GOCO) and the Federal Recreational Trails Program (RTP).
